We started the weekend off with a bang! Hans and I celebrated our SIXTH anniversary on Friday. Holy Cow. Growing up I had planned on barely being married at this point in my life, but here I am 25, married for 6 years and two kids to boot! Not to mention a house and soon a puppy to join our crew! We feel quite accomplished. A lot has happened since we first met in August of 2001 at Snow College; some good, some bad, a little stress, and a whole lot of happy.
Sharisa and Kim took the kids, not only for the eveningm but for the WHOLE night! Whoo hoo! We got a square 8 hours of sleep without any interuptions and it was wonderful! We ate out at Applebee's, thanks to my Aunt Karen, and then headed home for a night of games and questions about each other. It was my turn to plan what to do, so it was a little boring. But February is a little cold for a starlit bonfire up the mountain, so I had to improvise.
Saturday we woke up at a leisurely eight thirty and then drove into town to get the boys. We continued on to St. George for a day just spent with each other not worrying about building or packing or unpacking. And it was great! We went to a few pet stores to get stuff for the pup and to look at fish. Hans has a thing for fish. We ate lunch at a park and then played and played. OUr boys have absolutely no fear! Slides, strangers, ladders, whatevent he case may be, there is no apprehension or comprehension of what could happen to them. What trusting kids. We stopped by the temple just to look and walk around. Last, we stopped by Aaron and Brandy's for a visit with them and sweet Daxton. We are excited for them too! They are expecting another little bundle of joy. Our family just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I love it. The boys had a great time playing with their cousin, and as always we loved visiting. On Sunday it was my sister, Steph's birthday so I had an excuse to call and bug her. It is always so fun to call and chat with hera dn we always stay on the phone way too long- usually until my kids start screaming. HAppy Birthday Steph! Other than that, we went to church then just relaxed and Gabe watched his "Jesus movie", and I made a really gross stew with potato dumplings. YEECh. It was pretty bad. So we had brownies and ice cream to round up the perfect weekend!

How can you not smile when you see that!? Tait hung out on this blanket while we were fishing on Monday- he loves to be outside- and it's a good thing since that's where we are most of the time!

Yay! I'm finally the first one to leave a comment!!! Love, love, love, love, love, the house!!! I cannot wait to come and visit, but you know that will not be until all of the snow melts=) You guys did such a good job, and you are so sweet, you even mentioned calling me!! So I am slacking on not getting our blog updated, but we haven't taken too many more pictures, sooo, I will try to get it updated this weekend. The boys will be here, so we will take lots of pics. Funny, but I didn't know you guys went to Snow! I went there from 1999-2001, it was the BEST SCHOOL EVER!
